On June 16th 2009 I embarked on the project
ONE YEAR LIFE PERFORMANCE 2.0 and started recording everything
I did during the day, sharing my experiences through social media. The project became a container for a series of documentary performances. One of those is the
FLICKR FEED that I performed around September-October 2009.
Documenting everything I ate and drank helped me to fight a quite harmless but unhealthy addiction to chocolate bars
I bought from automatic dispensers at the railway station. Now with the performance more than two years behind me,
I feel I need to start eating consciously again, especially with my brother still fighting the vegetarian cause. With a selection from the
FLICKR FEED decorating part of the interior of my house - depicting sometimes gruesome and tasteless fast-food still lifes - I hope to be positively inspired as to change my diet for the better once and for all.
Thanks to Philip Janssens and Maud Lefever.
