a.s | a.s -- Wed 29 Sep 2010 Ivo van Hove is now director and artistic director of Toneelgroep Amsterdam in the Netherlands. In the eighties he was part of the so-called Flemish Wave, a heteroclitic group of artists that brought a fresh breath of air to the performing arts in Belgium and then quickly conquered the international scene. From his early beginnings on stage, scenographer and light designer Jan Versweyveld was his partner in crime. This symposium wants to reflect on their shared trajectory of almost thirty years. With contributions and the collaboration of Pol Arias, Guy Cassiers, Pieter Bots, Gideon Lester, Klaas Tindemans, Johan Thielemans, Bart Van den Eynde, Koen Van Synghel, Chris Nietvelt, Halina Reijn, Johan Van assche & Peter Van Asbroeck.
